The character of the Lot has various facets, each embodied in a different area, and it's this amazing diversity that it makes it so fascinating.
Les Causses du Quercy
In the heart of the Lot, the Causses du Quercy Regional Natural Park is limestone country; the domain of water and stone and of marvellous caves " a rambler's paradise". There is the grotte de Pech Merle for prehistoric paintings, and the village of Rocamadour for a journey back in time... and not to forget the Gouffre de Padirac....
The LotValley
Cahors, the capital of the Lot department, with the famous "Pont valentré" and the noble vineyards that grace the river terraces, the wednesday and saturday the market to discover, and many other wonders to see...
Going up river you will discover, cliffs and wildlife, wonderful villages such as St Cirq Lapopie.
If you continue down river from Cahors there is Luzech, Albas a medieval village on the hights, Prayssac and Puy L'Evêque circled by vineyards...

The Bourian
The Bourrian to the west of the department, oaks and chestnuts, heather and braken , the little capital is Gourdon also a wonder to see, Cazals, Catus, Salviac and other villages all as magical.
Figeac
To the east is Figeac, the streets of the old town posses a charm all of their own.
The Quercy Blanc
Then to the south, the Quercy Blanc with the popular villages such as Montcuq (we also have an agency) and Castelnau Montratier, known for their beautiful stones to see, delicious melons to taste, the wonderful smell and color of lavender, not to forget Lalbenque and its truffle markets...
